Artificial turf and hardscaping in Lehi, Utah

Lehi is where most of our new-construction work happens. The pattern is familiar: the builder put in a front lawn, left the backyard as dirt, and the lot is small enough that every square foot has to earn its place. Small yards are unforgiving — a bad layout is obvious from the kitchen window.

What is different about Lehi yards

Builder backfill is not a base

New-construction backyards are frequently filled with whatever came out of the foundation excavation, dumped and left. It settles for years. We check what is actually under the dirt before quoting, because on some Lehi lots the subgrade prep is a bigger line item than the turf.

Small lots reward doing it all at once

On a 30-by-40 backyard, the difference between a good yard and a cramped one is layout, not budget. Planning turf and hardscape together lets us put the patio where the shade actually is instead of where there happened to be room left over.

HOA approval is common here

Many Lehi developments require HOA architectural review for hardscape, walls, and sometimes turf. We can provide the scope and materials list you need for the submittal, but the approval is between you and your HOA and it is worth starting early.

Access before the fence goes up

If you are still pre-fence or pre-landscape, say so. Equipment access into a fenced Lehi backyard through a 36-inch gate turns a machine job into a wheelbarrow job, and that shows up in the price.

Lehi questions

My builder left the backyard as dirt. Where do I start?

With a measurement and a layout, before you buy anything. The most expensive mistake on a new build is installing one piece — a patio, usually — in a spot that makes the rest of the yard not work.

Do you handle HOA submittals?

We provide the scope, materials, and dimensions for your submittal. Filing it and getting approval is between you and the HOA.
